Fullstack developer, SQL/JS/Data Engineer

An international provider of world-class consulting services and high-quality market intelligence that consistently leads to client successes in growing or improving their businesses requires an experienced SQL, BI and JavaScript Full Stack Developer. As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of a team that maintains and extends a complex, large Azure SQL managed instance and associated interfaces. As a member of our Technology team, you will leverage SQL, JavaScript, ETL processes with Azure tools and further the latest technologies to deliver digital products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • - Develop and maintain SQL databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures and data integrity
  • - Building live, interactive software products using Angular framework
  • - Automating ETL processes with Azure tools
  • - Data cleaning and testing, both in maintaining SQL databases and preparing data for analysis in Azure Databricks and other software products
  • - Creating data science algorithms that execute analytical analysis
  • - Working with in-house and third-party data providers to build rich data sources for creating insights
  • - Scripting programming code for live software products, both from a functional and design angle
  • - Working with front-end developers and Power BI experts to share and present data and insights for internal and client use cases

Requirements

  • A university degree in a technical field is preferred or technical high school with relevant experience.
  • - Minimum of 2 years experience with T-SQL, writing stored procedures
  • - Minimum of 2 years of Azure SQL Database
  • - Minimum of 2 years in scripting functional or procedural programming
  • - Minimum of 1 years experience working with Java Script framework, ideally Angular
  • - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • - Czech language is not required but you must have valid working permission to be considered
  • Other useful skills
  • - SSIS, SSAS, Multidimensional Cubes, DAX or MDX
  • - Power BI, Azure Data Factory or Azure Analysis Services
